Hors de portée

« Shake it up is all that we know
Using the bodies up as we go
I’m waking up to fantasy
The shades all around aren’t the colors we used to see… »

Daryl Hall & John Oates – Out of touch – 1984 (Big Barn Boom)

Féminisme jazzy

« …I get too hungry, for dinner at eight
I like the theater, but never come late
I never bother, with people i hate
That’s why the lady is a tramp… »

Ella Fitzgerald – The lady is a tramp – 1937

« Somewhere there’s music
How faint the tune
Somewhere there’s heaven
How high the moon… »

Lola Albright – How high the moon – 1958 (série Peter Gunn) [1940]

Une bien belle époque

« Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
Make him the cutest that I’ve ever seen
Give him two lips like roses and clover
Then tell him that his lonesome nights are over… »

The Chordettes – Mister Sandman – 1954

Jeunesse aventureuse

« Billy left his home with a dollar in his pocket and a head full of dreams
He said somehow, someway, it’s gotta get better than this
Patty packed her bags, left a note for her mama, she was just 17
There were tears in her eyes when she kissed her little sister goodbye… »

Rod Stewart – Young turks – 1981 (Tonight I’m Yours)

ADX – Commando suicide – 2014 (Ultimatum)

« Till the end of time
Long as stars are in the blue
Long as there’s a spring, a bird to sing
I’ll go on loving you… »

Perry Como – Till the end of time – 1945

Réplique sudiste en règle

« Big wheels keep on turning
Carry me home to see my kin
Singing songs about the south-land
I miss ‘ole’ ‘bamy once again
And I think it’s a sin… »

Lynyrd Skynyrd – Sweet home Alabama – 1974 [Second Helping]

Et la tendresse ?… bordel !

« You’re the one I’ve waited for
I need your love more and more
I don’t know what your name is
I don’t know what your game is
I want to take you tonight
Animal appetite… »

AC/DC – Love Hungry Man – 1979 (Highway to Hell)

Électro-pop démocrate

« Scratched a ticket with a leg of a cricket
And I got triple Jesus.
Cashed it in for a siamese twin
At the family firing range… »

El Vy – Return to the moon – 2015 (album éponyme)
